Born and raised in Hungary, Suzanne was always more interested in drawing and creating than anything else (coming from two lawyer parents, it was a real headache for everyone at that time). Although she attended several art courses and workshops growing up, she considers herself semi-self-taught, as her dark surrealistic style started developing when she decided to not apply to universities anymore and try to create an own path for herself and her art. Digging deeper into surrealism, she found most her inspiration through thoughts and stories, feelings, psychology and mental health. She uses her art to communicate her subconscious to the outer world. Since she always liked creating characters and stories on her own , this inner world of her appear on most of the paintings as well, to which she usually refers as ’a dark inner Wonderland’ or ’her own, twisted 100 acre woods’.
